Hello everyone, we have started to send out our Kickstarter survey. This survey is hosted by Backerkit. Throughout the weekend all Backers will receive an email titled: "Response Needed -- Get your reward for GravGrip | Battery Free Camera Stabilization."
All backers need to fill out this survey to confirm their order and shipping address. If you wish to add additional items to your cart, you will have the option to purchase additional GravGrip™ products through this survey!

Manufacturing Update
Hello everyone, I'm here to give you this weeks inside scoop on GravGrip™. Here's where we stand with manufacturing:
GravGrips
Our US manufacturer is making great progress with our injection mold machining. This process is expected to wrap up before the end of July (more pictures soon). At this point we will see our first production units!

Injection Mold Frame and Components
Here is the progress on all other components:
All metal components are in production (e.g. weight set, shaft, bearings, etc.)
A small portion of 40,000 counter balance weights
Action camera adapter and cell phone adapters have now been ordered
Packaging design is near complete
Samples will be ordered next week
Our packaging will consist of cardboard and biodegradable plastic bagging
Extension Poles
As you know, extension pole manufacturing is underway. Enjoy an inside look at 7,000 GravGrip™ extension poles being manufactured!
All hand grips are ordered. More on this in future updates!
Conclusion
We are on pace to have all units produced, packaged, and shipped throughout the month of August. Any delays will be addressed in a weekly update. Stay tuned!
Survey: Order and Address Confirmation
I know many are anxious to receive our survey! Backers can add additional GravGrip™ products, confirm their orders, and confirm their shipping addresses in our survey. Our survey will be sent once we receive funds from Kickstarter. Kickstarter has confirmed we will receive payment in the next few days business days. We will make an announcement when our survey is sent!
We are excited to announce we have continued pre-orders through Indiegogo InDemand (CLICK HERE). Indiegogo pre-orders will not affect the ship date to our Kickstarter backers. Indiegogo InDemand orders will be shipped after all Kickstarter orders. Spread the word!

Hello Everyone,
What... a.. month!! What started as a seemingly never ending project, has become a product over 13,000 individuals believe in. I'm extremely fortunate to have your support and I look forward to GravGrip's production journey over the coming weeks!
4,068% funded in 30 days!?! Unbelievable.
Now for the good stuff:
Declined Payments
Well, the not so good stuff. I understand there are backers with declined credit card payments. Please check your messages and update your payment information. Thank you!
From Kickstarter:
"If your pledge was declined, log in to Kickstarter and click the “Fix payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. This will guide you through the process of changing or retrying your payment method."
This must be completed by Monday, July 13th or your order will be canceled.
Survey, Address Confirmation, and Bonus Support
Within the next 2 weeks, we will send backers a GravGrip™ survey to confirm all orders and shipping addresses. You will also be able to select any items offered during our Kickstarter campaign and add them to your cart at Kickstarter Pricing.
For those of you who've pledged for multiple GravGrip's or Add-ons, do not worry! They are accounted for. Your pledge will list a payment noted as "bonus support." When you receive our survey, you will be able to select and confirm all items you have ordered. All "bonus support" payments will be used as credit to select the add-ons you've per-ordered.
For example:
Pledge Level: "1x GravGrip™ 1x Hand Grip" Total Pledge: $89
This backer pledged $89 for: 2x GravGrip's, 1x Small Hand Grip, 1x Tripod Adapter, $10 Shipping to UK.
This backers survey would start with all items included in their "1x GravGrip™ 1x Hand Grip" pledge level ($39 Value and $10 Shipping). This backer has $40 in "bonus support." With their "bonus support" credit they would select 1x GravGrip ($35) and 1x Tripod adapter ($5) during their survey. Their survey total would equal their $89 pledge. Their order would then be confirmed with no additional expense.
If this backer wishes to add an Extension Pole ($20) or a 3rd GravGrip™ ($35) to their order, they will be able to do so by paying the additional fees at the end of their survey.
Production Update
I'm here to give you the inside scoop on GravGrip™. Here's where we stand with production:
GravGrip's
An in person meeting with our US manufacturer took place Monday morning (July 6th). This is where they're at:
Injection mold machining is in progress
Mold machining will take course over the next few weeks to ensure a proper functioning production design
Injection molds are on pace to be production ready by the end of July
Progress on all other components:
All metal component parts are in production (e.g. weight set, shaft, bearings, etc.) and will arrive to our US manufacturer throughout the month of July
Action camera adapter and cell phone adapter's are in the process of being ordered
Packaging design is in progress. We are looking at several minimalistic biodegradable options for our backers
We are on pace to have all units produced, packaged, and shipped throughout the month of August. Our order is much larger than originally projected so our timeline has shifted. Luckily we had started organizing manufacturing at the beginning of June and with no harsh delays will still meet our anticipated August/September ship date!

Extension Pole's
As you know, extension pole manufacturing is underway! All raw materials are now being processed into our GravGrip™ premium extension poles. All logistics are in place and we have requested pictures throughout the manufacturing process (more on that soon). We have slimmed down the GravGrip™ mount location. This is the only difference to our production design (seen below).
Hand Grip's
We took to instagram with our potential hand grip selections. The most popular choice also ended up being our favorite of the batch. Pictured below is the hand grip we will be shipping to backers. This hand grip is 6 inches in length paired with a nice foam hand grip. This is a generic product, not a GravGrip™ product, but our backers will love it!
Missed GravGrip's Kickstarter?
We are exploring the option of moving to Indiegogo InDemand to continue pre-orders. Check back in via our Kickstarter page (here), if we decide to go this direction our InDemand page will be linked. If we continue pre-orders this will not affect the ship date to our Kickstarter backers. Indiegogo InDemand orders will be shipped after all Kickstarter orders.
If we do not go the Indiegogo InDemand route, we will be selling GravGrip™ through our website this fall!
